BE4ALL Toolbox Talks

Belonging and Excellence for All (BE4ALL) is a joint effort by SMART, SMACNA, and the ITI to create an industry-wide culture where everyone is welcome and belongs, including those from historically underrepresented groups, and where we all strive for the highest standards of performance and professionalism, resulting in a thriving unionized sheet metal industry that affirms the dignity and worth of us all.

As part of the BE4ALL initiative, the BE4ALL Committee will be distributing Toolbox Talks every other month. The expectation is that these Toolbox Talks will ensure increased worker productivity, reduce bullying, harassment, hazing and discrimination on jobsites, and promote solidarity among our members. BE4ALL’s mission is to create a culture of excellence, foster a welcoming work environment for all of our members and retain our skilled workforce, and the wide distribution of these Toolbox Talks will help ensure that the entire unionized sheet metal industry has one consistent message – from our training centers to our job sites, and in our union halls. It will demonstrate why sheet metal is and should be the “go-to” craft in the construction industry.
